Description
A test render after I dressed the figure in DAZ Studio and then transferred her to Blender for rendering. At last Ekaterina has a friend who can be a tennis partner (see my earlier post https://www.renderosity.com/gallery/items/3090669/the-tennis-coach).
This is Darya for the Genesis 8 Female, wearing the extremely adaptable Gaodan Tennis Outfit from right here on Renderosity, with the FADS Tennis shoes thrown in for good measure. The Tennis Racquet is my own model, and you will be amazed to know that I also managed to model a ball to go with it! I will be using Darya in a forthcoming series that tells a story set in another universe in the equivalent of our year 2260. Their universe is similar to ours but different in ways that make it interesting for storytelling.

Thank you! Having the excellent clothing and character to work with really helped, though I did spend quite a lot of time setting up the Blender shaders carefully. The shaders generated by the software that does the imports don't work very well in the Cycles rendering engine, which is the one I prefer to use.

Thank you. A lot of it is just the character, Darya, she really looks the part. The excellent clothing items I selected helped too, I do recommend those if you're building a Genesis 8 collection.
OK, just for fun, I looked up tennis rackets on Amazon Canada, and they go from $11 and change for a training racket up to $OMG.
Yeah, professionals sometimes spend silly money on a tennis racquet, with carbon fibre or other composite materials to give them every edge they can get. I wish I could afford one, I'd spend the money on a new computer instead lol!
