Description
A Magnetar is a special type of Neutron Star that has an extremely strong magnetic Field, up to a thousand trillion times stronger than that of Earth. This extreme Field deforms the Space around the Magnetars, which is invisible, but I have tried to express it in the Image.
These Stars are created when the Core of a Red Giant Star collapses after a Supernova-Explosion. They're quite rare and only last a few thousand Years before they can turn into other types of Neutron stars or collapses once more to form Black Holes. A Blink of an Eye in the "Career" of Stars! ;)
