That's no good. Why is this?
Fewer birds for the last four years - used to have all sortds - starlings, thrush, blackbird ... We still get a couple of magpies now and again and the odd butterfly and bee. I think it's because pollution is getting worse.

This is The Small Tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae), and indeed here are not much butterflies too. But I was so lucky to spot the Lucerne Cathedral. The photo is not yet in my p.c.
