such a tranquil image, and so evocative, too. i love the detailing of the fireflies/insects as well. i've made this comment on occasion before here in the galleries, but your image, once again, reminds me that there is such an elegance found in simplicity, and that the more simple looking a render is, the more difficult it is to pull off as there are not crazy wild things that distract/deter the eye... you've managed this beautifully :))

Wonderfully moody image. I am constantly struck by the quality of Bryce images posted here by very talented artists - all of which pushes me to try to improve my own humble offerings.
Not sure if I am succeeding though - I never quite capture the mood or realism achieved by others. Still, I will keep trying. :-)
