Description
Renaissance Astronomy: Hypnagogia.
Made the iron candle stand looong ago with Hexagon.
He should blow out the candles to have a better view of the sky, but the pic would be too dark. Even made it brighter with Luminar.

This is a beautiful evocation of the alignment of the planets these days. I obviously appreciate the visual echo of the portrait of Nicolas Kratzer, astronomer of King Henry VIII, painted by Hans Holbein the younger. Night scenes are difficult to light, for my part I would have simulated the moonlight through the window, to give a cooler tint, complementary to that of the candles, and I would probably have adjusted the shadows with an IBL light compatible with the scene. Bravo for this carefully constructed image.
Great scene! Excellent work!!!

Well done scene!
Nicely done!
Really wonderful, it managed to bring up a smile of past memories.
Maybe one of his first times with that material. With time, he will understand it's better without candles ;) Cat is taking a great nap apparently ol
