Hello dear Renderosity friends!
I'm back from my vacation in Japan where I've seen so many beautiful places. I've decided to share some pictures with you before turning back at work in September.
My first picture is Kinkaku-ji (金閣寺 meaning "Temple of the Golden Pavilion") located in Kyoto. It is a Zen Buddhist temple listed on UNESCO World Heritage.
The temple was built in 1397 but was destructed twice. The temple you can see nowadays was built in 1955 after the burning of the second version by a monsk.
The story is narrated in a book written by Yukio Mishima.
The Pavilion is covered with 0.5 μm gold leaf.

Quoi de mieux pour retrouver une sérénité intérieure et une énergie positive que d'aller en Asie, je suis sûr que ton séjour t'aura changée et aidée à aborder cette rentrée plus prosaïquement. Que puis-je dire, Nezumi, devant une si belle photo ? C'est superbe et il s'en dégage une sérénité, une douceur que l'on ne trouve, dit-on, que là-bas. Tu me fais vraiment envie mais je sais qu'à mon âge je n'ai plus le courage de faire un si grand voyage...alors je vais me contenter d'admirer, avec un brin de regret, tes chefs-d'oeuvre.
