Description
Milk snakes are mostly nocturnal, especially during summer months. They tend to be secretive and remain hidden.
Although they are not venomous to humans, some milk snakes have a striking resemblance to coral snakes & some coral snakes do not have the typical banding colors or patterns. So rhymes such as "Red on yellow kill a fellow" are not 100% reliable.
