Description
This was a pond near a nice big park in north-east Bronx. Someone said it was inhabited by giant sharks and sea monsters, but I never saw any, which made me wonder if he was less than truthful.

You can see why stories are told of this location. Stories that have a very light sprinkling of truth, if any...lol
Great spot but not at night with all the bugs :)
It was quite an interesting sight, and I don't recall any annoying bugs there -- at least not during daytime.
I'm almost certain this pond is now gone and replaced by some housing development.
