Description
This was our neighbor's dog -- he was always well behaved and never barked -- a truly civilized, high-class dog.
Feel free to reach over the fence and pet his soft fur (at your own risk of course).

Some years back I was taking a stroll down some local rural road in the mountains, when a dog just like this trots over to me -- no fence -- no weapons to defend myself -- so I just stood my ground. He sniffs me over and slowly moves aside; then minutes later when I'm strolling back, I see him up on the hillside by the road stealthily following and observing me till I exited his 'domain'.
