Description
with his full aztec Name "Tezcát-lípoca", the Lord of the dark Mirror.
He was the God of War, Death, Sacrifice and Divination to the Aztecs.
He was almighty, invisible and one of the few to even wander the World of Death.
He is associated with North, Cold, Death, Purge and the Color Black. He wears a Jaguar-Skin.
By his Dark Mirror made of Obsidian he could see Past and Future and read the Minds and Hearts of Men.
His Cult was brought by invading Warrior-Tribes of "Toltecs" into the Realm of Aztecs. He was in permanent Conflct with their main God, Quetzalcuatl, and reflects the Integration of the Toltec-Tribes into the Aztec-Societies: Sometime wins one, then the other.
