Description

thanks for your visit today my friends, so highly appreciate your time and comments. this a photo from many years ago when Co had a massive fire that destroyed 133 homes and 600 structures and 6 lives on June 8th 2002. my friend Rod S posted a photo of clouds the other day and inspired me to dig in my archives of photos. beautiful clouds for several weeks we had. but sad how they came about.

This really is a beautiful capture, Steve. It looks like fire in the sky too. Here in Alberta we're no strangers to massive fires (got the debris floating around in the air right now from the next province over). Wonderful photo :)

Dang! What an awesome shot here, Steve! The sky is on fire! It is a tragedy for lots of folks when these fires occur. We had hazy skies here in KC for several days from high-altitude smoke from all those fires in Canada (stay safe, Bella!).

Looks like some nice clouds here today as well. Got the camera handy!

Nature has an amazing way of making things that are quite disastrous or results of a disastrous thing look beautiful. So sad that the fire destroyed so much and took lives as well. But that is one beautiful looking sky you've captured.
