He raised up curiously even as Tia began searching for the sudden contact. "I don't get it." Her voice carried a hint of confusion. "No additional contacts, but...." She paused, patching the image to the main scree. A pair of fighters were displayed on the view screen. "No carrier ship or any contacts. Sensors show they are at reduced power with fuel reserves on the verge of depletion." Sil shook his head slowly, a glint of recognition on his face. He pressed several buttons, dropping from warp speed to full impulse speed. "See if you can establish contact." He was concerned now. He had to insure his first impulse was correct. "Within the commercial ways, but far from anything and alone. Not a good thing for fighters." He nearly whispered. "Let's confirm who they are and the situation before making any commitments."
