Description
The lowdown was no prince came. A jab of Narcon woke up So Tite. There was an 8th little guy: Pimpy. So Tite had to leave the forest to escape her stepmother, and Pimpy said he would help her find a place in the city. Poison Apple indeed.
Sorrow can be the gate to salvation. Your prince may not fit your preconceptions.

Now there's a fairytale reteeling, with a healthy dose of gritty realism.
Yup, but I lost the drive to do the sequel in which Travis' prospects mushroomed due to the outpouring of relief and gratitude (and donations) after his rescue of our damsel. His dispatching of Pimpy displayed a particular skillset highly valued by the finest.
I can hear the guy on the left. "You talkin' to me? YOU talkin' to ME?"
Thank you. I had a sequel planned for So Tite's rescue, but it wasn't funny.
How 'bout.... Stepmomma sends a hardcore gangster with the nickname of "headhunter" to go after her. Guy on the left gets a crew together to waylay said "headhunter", then pimpy thinks this whole thing is getting out of control. Stepmomma is about to snitch on so-tite and her current bunch out of sheer spite, so, because so-tite is such a big "earner", and they're all scared of the cop-heat that might come down, a hit is green-lighted on stepmomma. Insert your favorite hitman here, and viola! Could even be the Taxi Driver on the left.
Cool premise, but I still don't see the laughs. My idea was that in the aftermath of Travis dispatching Pimpy, he's hired by the Finest, marries So Tite, and the donations that pour in allow them to buy a house in the suburbs. Next thing you know, So Tite's pregnant. She and Travis are in the hospital after delivery, the nurse brings the baby in, and he looks like Pimpy! I called it Pimpy's Revenge. That was three---or at least two---renders to get to one joke, and I wasn't sure how funny it was.
They could also go to the 'burbs as part of some type of witness protection. The comedy would then come in as they try to adapt to suburbanites, and that way of life. It'd become a fish-out-of-water story, with maybe some of their "old friends" tracking them down, for laughs or not, as you need to play it.
