Description
Thought it about time I started doing a bit more with Poserstyles excellent Hoplite stuff. About three days work all told, not counting the 16 hours it took to render (Total filesize about 408 megs, for those of you who like statistics).
Couldn't quite get the colour work right in Photoshop - got fed up of trying in the end and settled for this, though I'm not 100% happy with it.
Anyway, thanks for looking and I hope you think it's ok...Cheers, Ian

It's a really succes with perfect costums only one thing a little bit of blood in the sword will be better......... :-)) lighting is perfect !

Excellent work! Coloring may not be what you wanted but it works very well! I was pondering over these brave men the other night and wondered if they ever thought that their efforts would be remembered and celebrated over 2000 years later?
I can understand your struggle with the coloring. I have that alot too with my work. But since we can't see what you wanted in your head, the image stand alone as excellent! The composition and poses are perfect. Great background work as well. Really like this one a lot!

Cant help to repeat myself, but this is excellent! Poses, enviroment, lighting, atmosphere, everything is top notch work! Cant complain about the colors either... :)
The colours are shit, oh yeh and I'll win artist of the year..... awesome once again, the poses are spot on, as is the rest including the colour!!!!
