Hello dear friends,
This is a fractal I created using Apophysis 3 Hack.
A large, blooming flower, floating softly against a gently colored sky.
It almost seems to fly… or perhaps it’s simply drifting on its way,
to bring joy wherever it goes, a gentle sign that spring is near.
btw. I’m sharing this image as a little replacement for the butterfly I posted yesterday.
And here's my confession: I accidentally posted the same butterfly twice!
So please forgive this silly head of mine and enjoy this new bloom instead. :)
I hope this gentle flower brings a smile, even from someone who might be just a little under the weather. ;-)

Your gentle flower definitely puts a smile on my face, as much as all the other times I viewed your beautiful art and garden photography on this site. My computer stopped working for a week, so I'm sorry I didn't get to your latest uploads sooner. (My computer is STILL not working well...so if I have to stop, I'll comment more later...)
The outer petals of your flower almost look like sails---like the huge sails of an old sail ship from the 1600s. Those 'sails' are big, shiny, chrome-like petals that can catch winds and pull the flower through the depths of space. I love your hues on the 'sails' too.
But then they connect to the flower's core---which looks like the center of a Van Gogh sunflower. It's primal! It almost looks like the gears of a big primal engine: So your flower has sails and an engine, lol---that's a great flower!
And you place it against s sky (with stars) that also feels like vellum paper, or parchment. In fact, this image reminds me of the drawings of Leonardo da Vinci: The flower is like one of his flower or leaf drawings...while the background is the paper itself. I don't know why, but when I first saw this, I thought it was from the Renaissance! I know they didn't have fractals in the Renaissance, but it's like you made a fractal and brought it TO the Renaissance. And it fits in perfectly!
It's so creative, and you always create such meticulous and beautiful detail. And the black lines on the bakground are like ink spilled on parchment, and allowed to "run"...Beautiful work, Jacomina.
