Description
In the world centre an Icosahedron made in Wings3D and rotated, with some transparency with a high refraction index and some reflection. Around the object a big sphere with white diffuse, transparency and reflection. Light from inside by the "Rainbow3_LLx2" HDRI (unpublished) and from outside through the sphere as well. A bit of negative light by the sun to enhance the contrast. Coloured reflections from an Icosahedron on a surrounding sphere.

Beautiful image. If it were rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise, it has an almost insectoid appearance.
