Description
35 minutes and 90 miles later we pulled into some sort of strange industrial or military complex.
"What is this place," I asked
"It's my place," replied Dave.
"All this? How many acres?"
"About 25 thousand."
We drove past a strange plane-thing on a helipad and pulled into a huge underground garage. I knew Dave was a fairly rich guy, but apparently he got way richer since the last time we met.

Richer and a lot in tech also. The clock was very impressive and for sure under the scrutinity of scientists trying to understand it - in vain (like philosophers)

Actually deserts can get very cold at night even in summer, and especially in high altitudes. And I've seen actual snow storms in April and May!

LOL... Are you sure his name is Dave (and not Elon)?? That's a pretty decent spread. I've heard that there's another hidden base on the other side of those mountains.. Some super-secret organization... T.N.... ummm.... A, or something like that..
