Hi, from South Texas.
I like to swim, play cards and play on this computer with all sorts of programs. I am also an avid reader, mostly fiction.
I am glad you stopped by.....hope you will take time to look at my gallery. As a side note, I am honored to have been chosen as Artist of the Month for December 2022. Thanks to all that voted.

Ah, those were the days! Many a pleasant hour I spent that way when I was that age -- still do though now it's a Kindle because I can't see to read regular print. Wonder what book she's reading? Looks a bit on the old fashioned side, the classics maybe? Robin Hood, King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, Ivanhoe, A Child's Garden of Verse -- my library had a lot of those and I happily devoured every one, precocious little bookworm that I was. Good times!
And a very good pic too! :-)
I love books also. Thanks for the comment.

Gorgeous style and such a beautiful scene. Excellent :)
Appreciate your comment. Thanks.
Your background is painterly again (I'm going backwards from your most recent image), but your main subject adds a more photographic realism to your painterly style. Very fine light on her (ie, on her face, hair, the upper half of her dress, the book, etc). It's an interior image, but the sun's highlights let-in the outdoors.
And I love the splotchy quality to the outdoors, here---the leaves are wonderful splotches of light, little 'splashes' of light. (I don't think "splotch" is a technical term, but I can't think of a better word.) It's all bathed in a green-tinged harvest and pale sepia light...and it feels like the repose of a late morning in one's home. Like Byrdie says, it brings back sweet memories of reading, in childhood...
Thanks for the comment and I think splotchy is a great term. :-)
This new graphic has turned out simply great!
Thank you
