Description
I was reading about Doolittle's Raiders bombing of Tokyo (an audacious maneuver) during WW2, so that's where this comes from. It's not a simulation of what went on, just inspired by it...They flew B-25 medium bombers 650 miles from the aircraft carrier USS Hornet to Tokyo at 1500 feet all the way. Some moxie!! The B-25 is from Odrej Ondracek at blendermarket. I converted it similar to the model used in the raid and did some custom texturing. Enjoy!

You can feel the roaring engines. I read a book about the Hornet some years ago "The Ship That Held the Line", USS Hornet and the first year of the Pacific War. Among other things, the author describes how the USAAF crew lived on the ship and got along with the sailors and the preparations to take off. Very interesting to read.

Great POV.

Low and loud. Great pov and the flight crew look natural, as do the startled fisherfolk.
