Cloaked in the shadows of the night Polaris quietly observed the entrance to the grand palace. Security seemed high and not to be underestimated. She could climb up and break-in through some back window but decided on a simpler, safer way first, right through the front door. Before the door shut the 2 micro-probes she released zipped inside undetected and now served as an extension of her senses, including RF and subspace signal detection. After passing several chambers of Vellari indulging in various recreational activities, one of the micro-probes finally located their data center and tapped in. When the alien system was finally decoded and decrypted a flood of information on Vellari history, culture and science became available for Polaris to scoop-up.
