I hope you had all a good start to the new year, my husband and I have spent the new year asleep, it was relatively quiet here so we didn't need earplugs, which was also good for all the many pets in our apartment building and the surrounding area!

I love this---it's a real black and white, 1940's style, almost film noir romance. The woman's jacket is reminscent of the military (double and triple breasted) women's jackets of the 40s. And both jackets have a sheen---as if they were leather.
You outlined the couple is strong highlights. And the lantern in back---with the bar too---suggests a late night scene. Really well done. All they have to do now is break into song and dance, and you'd have a film!
