Of the several classical doors in my Runtime, none have key holes and the Roman Temple model that I used here (formerly Daz I believe) had no doors, so I modelled doors in #Shade and textured them bronze. The #Classical #Greek key modelled here (Shade) is sometimes called a 'Homeric key' because Homer described its use in this scene from the #Odyssey. #Penelope had her weaving ruse utterly blown. So, she opened the treasure room, with #Athena as her point-man. Penelope expressed doubt that any in her audience of lay-about suitors were man-enough to string the bow that belonged to her much-storied husband. This incident is one occasion in antiquity where the deity Athena (also pictured), is said to have secretly manifested, ahem, as male amongst humans.
