Thought I would render out my USS Yorktown World War II Carrier that is in my store both as DAZ and Poser. This is a render created in the free Vue application.

After modeling this I just had to do the hanger scene..
Excellent render. The Corsairs are historically out of place. They were not used on USN carriers until late 1944. The Yorktown and the Wildcat fighter markings are from early 1942. The Yorktown was sunk at the Battle of Midway in June 1942.
Correct on all accounts. The render was to show the carrier, which was my modeling effort, and I simply used the aircraft I had from other modelers to add to the scene. You can also see the liberties I took in modeling the below-deck hangar in the gallery next to the exterior render. I appreciate the comment on this effort. Too old these days to sit the hrs it takes to do modeling at this level. In the hangar scene, I even modeled the engines and cradles..
