Yea,usually it's been slugs. For couple of last summers and autums I did see few or then am always walking around times when i miss swarms of them as some who live nearby complains about how snails are doing damage onto their gardens. And maybe they like it in those gardens better. Maybe they are moving according to where they know are yummy foods in gardens or something. ^^

Yea, somehow they just know where the best food is. If I was a gardener I might be bit proud of knowing that woudl be doing something extremely correct if my garden were to get raided by snails.:'D
That's the positive way of looking at it! :) Of course then you have to deal with being raided by snails XD
