but on a really, really sad note. violence hit my apartment complex last night. at 9:03 pm i heard 6 gunshots , so close to my place. went out after 30 seconds, less 100 ft away 85 footsteps from my door someone was lying on the ground, the persons mother i guess was present when her kid was shot, she was screaming so horribly and saying hold on to her son, hold on baby! security was there in moments after it and was pumping his chest, police was all over but no ambulance came right away, few minutes later i could hear the guard saying he died. her voice of her loss still rings in my head as i type. i cried and prayed for her. when i went out after the shooting, i saw someone running in between garage buildings. not sure if it was the shooter or someone chasing the shooter..
i don't think it was the shooter cause he would have ran off sooner unless he was saying something to the two other women that were there or what. but it was a sad night and could not sleep for hours after it.
i believe it was a punk gang shooting and not sure what happened to escalate the shooting. i think they were getting out of their car or getting ready to get in when it happened.. i just so highly hope they catch the F&*K wad !! say a prayer. her holiday is a tragedy. thanks for reading.
since i have lived here in July of last year this is the 5th shooting on my side of the apartment complex. there was others in other section address also.

Sad news! It is crazy... Too much violence everywhere. The frustration can turn to violence or hate but the violence solves nothing. Each victim is innocent. I share the sadness with you and everybody, prayer and Buddha bless you and everybody. By the way, great pic! Happy thanksgiving

This epidemic of violence just keeps getting worse.. It's nuts. It's rare for a night to pass here in the Kansas City area without at least one shooting. There was an incident not far from us at an apartment here in Independence. The Police were called for a domestic disturbance, and when they got there, they found a lady that had been beaten. They went to the apartment of a younger woman that had beaten her, and found her in a closet holding a baby. She never said a word the entire time the Police were there. She finally came out of the closet, sat on the bed, then grabbed a huge kitchen knife from the nightstand, and charged one of the Officers - still holding the baby. The Officer fired in defense, and the bullet struck both the woman and the baby. Both died.
Anyway, prayers for you, and the family of the young man that was killed.

Beautiful image - but such a terribly sad story. Over here in UK not so many gun crimes, but many stabbings. So much cruelty and violence in the world, not just the wars.
