Train Station-Days Of Yore by ladylake
Hi, from South Texas.
I like to swim, play cards and play on this computer with all sorts of programs. I am also an avid reader, mostly fiction.
I am glad you stopped by.....hope you will take time to look at my gallery. As a side note, I am honored to have been chosen as Artist of the Month for December 2022. Thanks to all that voted.

Ah ... we don't see much of those amazing steam trains anymore. They contained not a single bit of electronics ... not even a wire ... yet they pulled 1000s of tons of stuff every day. The only downside was opening your window and occasionally getting dosed with smoke.
Thanks for the comment, max
Steam Trains what and when were they LOL Yes but they sound they made was great
Appreciate the comment.
I say these are absolutely exquisite. Bravo!

Thanks. Appreciate the comment.
This is wonderful work.
Thank you starship.
I couldn't comment on the next image (because comments were off), so let me say here that it's a delight...the low hanging 'weeping' leaves, the misty forest, the wonderful animals and light...I wasn't aware of the landslide, I hope it didn't cause too much damage...
This is a real treat. I love your rich sepias here, and the composition, and that the woman stands perfectly between the train and station (in the background)...
And I love the part graphic, part drawn, and part painted look. You get that a lot in your work. Also, your images have a clarity that make even the most packed images feel very open and clear. And that woman has on helluva set of goggles! Plus, I love her red cheeks and the watercolor billows behind her...Love this. (And the second image is equally good, with a wonderful play of the patterns of the train with the folds of her gown etc.) You did steampunk proud!
Yea, I turned the comments off. The image was a play on the landslide victory of our election. I was starting to get some not so great comments so I clicked the comment section off. I like the way the election went, they did not....'nuff said. lol
Steam punk is fun. I toss it in once in awhile. Thanks for the nice comment.
