A very long way indeed, the castle is nowhere in sight. He's probably wishing he'd Apparated instead of taking that stupid portkey. Could have been worse, though -- at least he didn't end up in the lake. This time. Needless to say, he will be having Serious Words with a certain fashion disaster of an employer when he finally does get home and makes his report.
