They had transported down a short distance from the craft and then made their approach. "Surround." Gavik commanded. He tightened his hand on the Batlith. "I want them alive." He watched as his men split off to either side of the party. "We would have have been better prepared for confrontation had we all been permitted weapons." The Second officer commented with annoyance. "Coming from someone known to attack from behind." Gavik glanced over his shoulder with a deep scowl. "You are an excellent second officer, but still, do you think I would permit you to have my back with a weapon?" He chuckled deeply as he returned his view to the craft. The second officer stared angrily at the mans back for several moments, barely able to hold back his anger after the stinging insult had been voice aloud.
