Hello Everyone: It's time again to celebrate Star Wars! I am uploading this animation a day early to get a head start on the Star Wars festivities happening this weekend! For this animation, I headed out to Ocean Beach in San Diego near where I live and shot some video. The weather was unusually cloudy and it had just rained earlier in the morning. There was hardly anyone around with the exception of a few sea gull birds...it made for a perfect setting for taking a few videos. This is my first attempt at blending live footage together with rendered 3D animated characters. About the only thing missing is the footprints in the sand as Vader walks on the beach. If I ever do this again, I will try to improve on that small detail. I hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to the Summer days ahead. I thank you all for your incredible support in watching and commenting on my animations...you're all awesome! :-)
