The Apartments on Tizzledom Street by ladylake
Hi, from South Texas.
I like to swim, play cards and play on this computer with all sorts of programs. I am also an avid reader, mostly fiction.
I am glad you stopped by.....hope you will take time to look at my gallery. As a side note, I am honored to have been chosen as Artist of the Month for December 2022. Thanks to all that voted.

Sounds like a great kid's book and that would be a perfect illustration or cover for it. Lots of cool fantasy creatures. I just love the name "Tizzledom Street". Magical!
Thanks a lot.
Great image
Thank you.
Love it. Could be the Brady animals.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks a bunch.
Very creative work.
Appreciate your comment. Thanks.
Cool style, for me it has the 'cabinet of curiosities shop' mystery to it...still no idea how you do this. 👏
It's magic, just like you do your images. ;-) Thanks for the comment.
Fantastically well done Lyla 👍🙋♂️
Thanks for looking and the comment.
I think we lived in one of those apartments when we were first married..... 😉
This is delightful!
Way back when I lived in something similar also. :-)
This looks so great and again, I am really enjoying this style of art :)
This tyle is fun. Thanks for the comment.
well I'll have to stop after this, as I'm getting tired---not from your work but from sitting and typing...I'm not really commenting much now, but I had to return to your gallery before another week passed. I'll do more the next time I return.
This is a wild and very detailed, even rigorous piece. I love the compartments (apartments) and all the variations on creatures. This has "old fairy tale" written all over it, from old, old folklore books, where animals are human, and each little cubby hole has a deep story behind it---a history, with mysteries and conflict and so on.
Love all the details: You must've worked hard on prompts and the postwork to get all these details so finely. So typical of old folklore---fruits, pots strange plants, urns, curtains, amulets, etc. The patina is aged attic-gray---fitting for your subject---and you have blues in there, beiges, greens, etc. The bottom center panel is almost like a theater...This would have been at home in the middle ages as well as today. It's a beautiful cornucopia and I can see how the sunbeam piece suggested all these little apartments to you. Your imagination is wonderful. And if Tizzledom has a meaning, I unfortunately don't know it. (Maybe it came from a challenge? Or from a story?) The image speaks for itself, regardless.
Thank you so much for your comment and your kindness, Lyla. I'm truly happy if my comments give you uplift. Your work has such soul and depth and heart in it, and wonderful creativity throughout. I'm doing so little commenting these days, but I had to come here to share your work openly once more, and to show my gratitude for your kindness to me. I wish you and all your loved ones a blessed Easter, and hope that your spring will be filled with renewal and great joy. Thanks again, Lyla, for your comment. Happy holidays, and keep up your magical creative work!
Thanks, Mark. Happy Easter to you also.
