Hello dear friends,
In Dutch there are different types of carrots with different names.
There are "waspeen" ( those carrots have already been washed.), "zomerwortels" (summer carrots) which you buy with the greens tied together in a bunch, these can also be eaten raw.
Additionally, there are "winterwortels" (winter carrots). Winter carrots are larger in size and usually have a sweeter taste. They are typically cooked or used to make cakes.
This information just for fun because of the title.

Horses can be greedy when it comes to carrots. So is mine. He has his problems sometimes to chew them off but he won't let go. Nice picture!
