Description
"The reason I've called this meeting is that - and this hasn't been made public yet - sometime within the next eighteen months the government is going to open up the planet Arcadia for settlement. Um... the name hasn't been officially accepted yet, so technically it's still GL-638-III. I've given you each access to the survey report in the computer, because I just got word that our company will be submitting a bid to build the colony. The survey team identified four possible sites for the first settlement. We don't know which site will be chosen, so we need to calculate costs for all four. The model we're assuming is 50,000 colonists the first year, 5,000 annually after that, with a target of self-supporting within fifteen years."
"Fifteen years? Is that even possible?"
"Ours is not to reason why, ours is just to run the numbers. In any case, Mike Johnson's team will be looking at mining and other possible sources of revenue for the colony, and Cathy Chen will be leading the agricultural team. Our job is just to cost the basic infrastructure - schools, houses, hospitals, roads, etc. Are there any questions? Yes Jen?"
"Are there any special medical issues with this planet that we need to take into consideration?"
"Good question. The survey team identified a number of pathogens that could evolve to infect humans. It's all in their report, and none of them seem like they'll be especially difficult to deal with. Obvious they didn't have any children with them, so we'll need to design in enough extra capacity in the pediatric section to deal with the inevitable nasty surprises. Anything else? Okay then, I'll leave you to read the report and we'll meet again on Tuesday to start sketching out some ideas."

Wow! A new planet and a pre-colonial survey simulation! Marvelous image and story!
Your imagination is amazing and I don't even mention your talent. This image is so well composed.
Great storyline to build around this creation
Belle composition et super texte.
Super looking scene and lovely ladies. The story of colonizing a new planet is interesting. Excellent!
highly detailed scene.
Hmmm, wonder if that settlement will go as smoothly as planned....great posing and sci fi scene
Nice image. Good poses and expressions.
Great looking sceneโฆ beautiful characters and great posing work !!
Marvelous render
Cool !
What a lovely set of legs we have here!
It's wonderfully done! I hope that they have still enough time!!!!!??????
Once they get those pathogens under control and not capable of infecting humans...I want to volunteer to go along in this mission! I will be nice to get off this planet we call Earth."lol" Your amazing attention to details is always so well done! :-)
Perhaps we can send in Artifical human dummies to get infected with these new pathogens instead of using our own children. Perhaps data from the AIs will give us inmunisation solutions over multiple generations in a short period sparing all of us the lives of our kids. Expensive I know, just apurposal. Excellent Sci fi makes you think.

Excellent!!
You have a way of creating very imaginative stories & well-done illustrations!
Wonderful story accompanying a wonderful render. Cheers!
Great poses, lighting and texturing, though the way the lady in the middle dresses would seem... unusually provocative... :P Can only wonder what the new planet would look like -- and can only hope it would not be ruined by the presence of humanity the way Earth has...
