Unfortunately, Facetransfer 2 improved only in context to genesis 9 which I don't use(no changes or improvements for G8 at all). I have too much assets for G3 and G8, to invest again into G9 (beside that I find the mesh topology of G9 a horror for creating morphs and my gpu is already running short on memory (8GB) with bigger scenes. So no space for overly big textures to compensate the bad topology).

I had the same impression.
Facetransfer for G8 has not been updated or is still the same as before. Facetransfer 2 ignores hair in photos and is much better, but it is only applicable to G9.
