I like to swim, play cards and play on this computer with all sorts of programs. I am also an avid reader, mostly fiction.
I am glad you stopped by.....hope you will take time to look at my gallery. As a side note, I am honored to have been chosen as Artist of the Month for December 2022. Thanks to all that voted.

Sensational.
Thanks a lot for looking and the comment.
Wow!
Thanks.
How amazing!
Thanks for looking.
That is a lovely bird, only natural the app would put him in a lovely garden scene. They all look great, but I think I like the one with the pink flowers best. :-)
Me too, that's why I put it first. Thanks for looking.

Thanks a lot.
Most beautiful bird images, ladylake! Very pleasing to the eyes! Bravo times 4!
Thanks.
well I'm back for a longer session this time...
You've done beautifully with the original bird. Such bold and clear colors, and separation of colors. And you've got slightly different attitudes in each version (the way it stands, its shape---I don't mean "that bird's got attitude, dammit," I mean the visual attitude...). And you've varied the branches, added beautiful bark markings, different leaves/flowers in each version, and achieved a mix of (what?) audubon and other nature painters w/ pure classical chinese ink paintings. Grace, clarity, beautiful---this series is wonderful, Lyla.
(I hope links work in comments:)
Here's a very famous painting, from 12th Century China (it's in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts). Click to zoom---you notice that the painting has discolored badly over the centuries; but look at the composition and the bird. It's classic Chinese ink painting. It's on silk---which has darkened. Just for comparison. You're in good company, LL! (That's what they call you on Discord!) The link:

Thanks for the wonderful comment. The link to the painting was great. Re: LL, yea, we are basically lazy and shorten names. lol
Layla, the name of that bird is kiskadee??? Here in Brazil we call him bem-te-vi, because of his song. The images are very beautiful.
We think his song sounds like Kiskadee. lol Thanks for looking and the comment.
Awesome gallery !
Thank you very much for your comment.
