I lead Daisy into the store pulling at her hand. I know full well I don't have to strength to make her move, but she willingly followed me inside. The Sweet Shop is candy store that has been around for generations maintaining that classic charm of its original look. As we enter the bell on the door jingles and with every step Daisy takes you hear the floorboards creaking under her weight. Cody the young teen behind the counter gives a warm welcome He has a large build but he's not too tall. I believe he's the older brother of the girl I saw outside the store. He momentarily has look of surprise then he calls for his friend and coworker Dora to front of the shop saying he might need a "little" help with this order. Dora another teen red frizzy hair and a slight overbite emerges through the curtain from the backroom. Dora as many has the same look surprise yet quickly regains her composure after a quick glance at Cody. Something about the way she looked at Cody reminds me of the way Daisy looks at me. Luckily my family is in good standing with the owners which allows me to stop in from time to time and get some freebies. However, considering her size Daisy might need more than a few sweets and chocolate bars. Cody makes a call to owner explaining the situation. Luckily the seem to know Daisy's family as well and tells Cody just give us much as we carry. Upon hearing that a huge smile comes across Daisy's face as her eyes light up to sight of the sweets in front of her.
