This is my first venture into AI generated art. I enjoyed ACue's Americans series set during the Dust Bowl and Depression era, and wanted to do something similar in a post-apocalyptic style. This series features a variety of post-apocalyptic refugees. I found out that AI art is another tool in the tool box. It does some things really well, others not so well or not at all, and other things look downright funky. What it is really good at is being extremely prolific. It can bust out images that range from acceptable to spectacular in a minute, again and again once you start learning how to communicate properly with it. The engine used here is Midjourney. So rather than flood the board with single image after single image, I'm bundling these up into series. I humbly ask my fellow artists to do the same, to avoid the "new" section of galleries from too-quickly pushing down new art onto the next page, where it will all too quickly fade into obscurity and not giving fellow artists the time and feedback they need to get better. I know there are some awesome images that everyone would like to put out there, I get it. Everyone wants to showcase awesome stuff. But please treat your fellow artists well. We're all here together.
