"Pleasure to meet you, Chief," Phillips said, extending a hand.
"Marty, please Commander," she replied. "Happy to be on board."
"What's your specialty Marty?" she asked.
"I'm a fully certified trauma specialist with a Master's in exo-biology as well as being watch qualified on S&R sensors, though usually I'm looking for stranded humans, not...whatevers." she grinned.
"She's being modest," the admiral butted in. "She's more than qualified. I've downloaded her jacket to you."
"As I said, pleasure to have Marty. Let's get you introduced to the rest of the crew and then get on our way."
"Dismissed," the admiral confirmed.
