A friend assumed that I'd inadvertently taken this photo while carrying the camera. He didn't realize how long I'd waited to get it just right ! :oD

Nice image. And yes, I remember 35mm film - I have a fairly large collection of slides and negatives which I recently digitised. :-)

The art of taking a single photo seems to have been largely lost with the advent of digital cameras. I was never very good at that art, most of my 35mm photos being out of focus. This is one of the few exceptions What I was good at was making it look as if I knew what I was doing... ;o)

I used to roll my own cans of film from bulk and had my own darkroom but the single photo art is hard to shake off once acquired.
After I'd gone digital, I used to go on photographic trips with a friend who had only come to photography after getting a digital camera.
When we looked at our results, I'd taken about 30 photos and he had about 200. :-D

Wonderful capture. Analog photography is the real thing, just way too expensive nowadays. All Leica and Hasselblad are well under serious surveillance..😊

Thanks. I can't even recall what camera I used. It was probably a Canon, as I've stuck to them since on the 'better the devil you know' principle. I have fond memories of using my Dad's old Yashica Minster though.
