Cut and Shut refers to the practice of taking two mechanically identical cars, one with damage to the front and the other with a damaged rear end. The good ends of each car are cut off and welded together to form one good car. The practice is illegal but still done by unscrupulous car dealers. Though it would be easy to spot if they accidentally welded two similar halves together. :-D ----------------------------------------- Original Render: 11 Jan 2023 Created with Bryce 6 ----------------------------------------- Credits: Car is a Viewpoint model that came with my Bryce 4 many years ago. Amusing. Two rear ends welded together. Could be called a push-car since the engine is missing.

an amusement park had an old Plymouth welded together on display. I have not past there for many years, so it probably is long gone

You are correct. It is, apparently, a '64 TBird. :-)
