Description
Just my lake, with those coppery tones, toned a bit by me and the camera...very much how winter feels some days...quiet, blah'd, yet strangely peaceful...
I'm making the rounds in your galleries...I've been absent a lot but am trying to catch up. A few promised uploads to come this month.
I hope you're all well, and I wish you all a healthy and fine week! m

A very attractive image - I like this copper tone.

I like the copper tone also against the starkness of the bare trees. Very misty and cold.

It seems as if the trees want to communicate with the buildings, and maybe they do this too, but their chatter is a bit lost. Because of the beautiful atmosphere in the fog, some questions remain unanswered, as if the words are swallowed up by that copper fog, but it can also be that those words like to wander around in that color and fog. Your lake is ultimate special, as interesting as you took this photo, my friend.
I haven't been here for a long time, but I'll try to write you in due course, Mark.

I really do love the coppery tones here, Mark. It's so perfect for the winter atmosphere, and the peacefulness it brings with it. And the flat, frozen surface of that nice little pond 😉 in the foreground adds so much to the wintry feel.
Brrrr..... Now I need coffee..... 😁

Just that cloudy look gives me the chills Mark. You sure are magnificent with the lens my friend.

oooh, the coppery haze is fantastic! the color looks interesting and intriguing and I want to visit that place by the water, now. I love this coloring. excellent detail on those buildings, too. the dark trees in the foreground make me feel like I'm spying a secret city from my hiding place.
