oh, beautiful contrasts in this shot, I love the yellows and how they look like highlights in a huge head of hair, or in a huge landscape-sized beard! And I love the contrast with the bare rock of the lower right half. Or the soft mountains in the background...It's a sweeping but intimate shot, and it has that softness you get in a number of your landscapes, so that the sharpness of the terrain is balanced by a soft atmosphere...

Excellent picture, I took an over niter ride on my motorcycle from Colorado Springs to Durango by way of the Million Dollar Highway. It is one of the 10 most dangerous roads in the world. It was a beautiful day just like you have pictured. Happy New Year!
