The ancient Greeks believed that the weather, like nearly everything else on earth, was the result of divine activity. Wind, specifically, was associated with the Anemoi, or the Greek gods of the wind. 😉

I like this very much (and many apologies on not having commented on your efforts for the past month, but I'm on the mend now and in less pain so should hopefully get to it over the next few days). By coincidence my friend has just named his boat Aeolus , father of the Anemoi (not that we'll get much of a chance to sail in the next few months i imagine)...

a haunting image, with Irish music in the background...it's a scene out of a 19th C. Irish folk tale, with a goddess looking yearningly into infinity. The wind is very flowing (through her gown), and the surrounding is a dream. Beautifully done, with real winter colors. This is how January feels in the northern hemisphere...
