it's a scene from a 1940s film, made in france, deutschland, denmark, england, etc. The music has a 1940s-1950s feeling to it (even though it's a familiar christmas song). I love the fog here, and the gray skies...it's definitely a winter image. And the long crimson gown---a real contrast with all the whites and grays. And the cute dog. Even the lamp has a lone bird on it. Very moody...and it evokes a longing, yearning feeling for home and for being with loved ones on the holidays. Beautifully done.
