Fascinating. Because the emitted light eliminates shadows, it has the effect of looking suspended midair; cool effect.
Yeah, strong backlit scenes do that. In my studio, I had a 3x6 softbox I could do that with, but it is SO much work metering and setting it up with a digital or film camera. This, you see the results as you adjust the scene. 3D is so cool that way.
