Here you see the Hummingbird butterfly in action on our Red Valerian (Centranthus ruber).
When I see it's head I always have to think of a mouse, luckily, a mouse has no wings ;-) .

What amazing images my friend! My close-ups are a hit and miss type of thing. Every time I see the face, I keep thinking of a particular shark (I want to say a nursing shark) without the antenna.
