Description
One of few places she was permitted to go alone. In the gardens, she found some peace. This part was known for ancient rituals that were no longer practiced; a place considered part of the dark history of the Klingon race. Even here, she could still hear the sounds of fighting, the cursing, roars of anger and howls of pain. She had been amongst the Klingons for as long as she could remember, only here could she dream of being something she had been denied; to be free.
Tonight, she stared into the calm pool of water in the basin, wondering where he was, if he was safe. She did as she had done on other such occasions when his father had taken him away on one of their excursions; she waited patiently for his return.
She held no fear of being alone in the dark, for to her it was like a security blanket about her. Warriors would not harm her; there was no honor in taking down a female slave. And the great walls about the gardens prevent predators from entering.
She heard running footfalls back along the path. She closed her eyes tightly and drew a soft breath.
There were other types of predators though.

Safer among these Klingons than elswehere. Peaceful scene.
thank you. I wanted something a little different from the usual klingon cities.
