Description
When I was on my way on my bike, this caterpillar fell from a high tree, near me on the street.
And I stopped to pick it up very carefully.
I did it very cautiously in my bicycle bag.
And luckily, when I got home, it was still completely okay, also no longer rolled up, but the caterpillar had stretched out, a good sign.
The caterpillar is really very beautiful and I was so happy, so I took various photos while the caterpillar went 'walking'.
By searching on the Internet I almost saw no photo's of this kind were you could see its head.
What is also so nice, I took pictures of the butterfly of this caterpillar last year, I will share this with you at my next upload.
We checked what this caterpillar lives from, and placed it in our insect hotel, I am still curious how the caterpillar is doing.
The latin name: Calliteara pudibunda.
Dutch: Meriansborstel.

Wow...this is an amazing looking caterpillar with its wonderful green color, it will certainly find happiness in your insect hotel where its accommodations will be more than satisfactory.
