the native people of the Marshall islands were forced to move to Ada, Oklahoma losing their homes and a way of life during the early 60's so the USA could use 70 some nuclear bombs. The "islands" were purchased, but I bet the people never seen a dime plus losing their way of life and homes. thanks for posting this group picture
It's terrible all the atrocities that were committed in the past (as well as what happens today) that were approved out of fear and greed. A lot of things that many people would like to pretend never happened, but should never be forgotten. And I agree; if those people ever saw any money from that, which is unlikely, you can bet it was a bare pittance of what they should have gotten.
