Description
Hello dear Savino, I hope you like it!?!
Die Walküre (The Valkyrie), WWV 86B, is the second of the four operas that form the cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung), by Richard Wagner. Die Walküre's best-known excerpt is the "Ride of the Valkyries".
Wagner took his tale from the Norse mythology told in the Volsunga Saga and the Poetic Edda.
I thank you all for looking and wish you a nice Day!

You can feel the movement of the ride. Nicely done. Feel her strength and the strength of her steed. To battle!

Vielen herzlichen Dank, für dich warten zwei Piraten auf hoher See!
This is wonderful work!
Great video and music!
Beautiful music
Do you like just the music???? 😉
Thats a great pic, and wrks very well in your animation...from the white horses on green in er outfit and insignia, it looks like it could be Eowyn of Rohan!
We also mustn't forget the influence of the German national epic, Nibelungenlied (particularly for the story of Götterdämmerung), which differs a bit from the Icelandic originals (also the reason the hero is Seigfried rather than Sigurd)...
Beautiful animation, Ute! Well done!
Wagner is my favorite composer, and Ride of the Valkyries is my absolute favorite favorite Wagner piece! Well chosen. She does very much remind me of Eowyn from LOTR. If I remember right, I think Tolkien took a bit of inspiration from The Ring of the Nibelung.
Yes, he did!!! Have a nice weekend!
Bombastesch Kreatioun!!!!!
Awesome and imposing creation. Outstanding!
Thank you very much!
