Description
This was done for a contest over on DA.
After the trials and tribulations of the VERY resource hungry scenes used in recent issues of Skytown, it was a nice change to use some older "leaner" runtime items to make something that didn't need hours to render, while retaining a decent level of detail... Also an interesting exercise in lighting, doing all the fx "in camera" without any postwork.

Lighting, posing and the dress are fantastic! Kudos! 🧚♀️ The Nagging Hat wonders if the fire sprite might look more integrates with some more opacity.
Thanks. I agree, I'm still playing with that to see what I effects i can achieve. This version is just g8.1 with a uniformly emissive skin; applying a stronger texture map or making the surface highly reflective rather than emissive might work better... I shall experiment and report back!

Indeed, it does give your muse a bit of a rest to just do a fairly simple scene, after putting a complex page together. Taking a quick break helps - at least it does for me..
Thanks Rod... I also need to figure out what happens next with Skytown, with the Baroness on the loose, and several other strings dangling. Some will doubtless need to be carried over to the next volume, so that this one doesn't get overly long. I probably should have plotted it all a bit more tightly at the start, and resisted the temptation of introducing all the new characters...🙄
Yeah, I'm in the middle of the "what happens next" field of posies myself... LOL Got a few ideas, though... If I can sit down and do some writing... 😬
